We’re celebrating World Literacy Day!

SNAP Learning is having a month-long celebration of World Literacy Day on September 8th.

SNAP Learning has donated multiple sets of its 130 leveled English readers, to several charitable organizations across the globe. These books which contain both fiction and nonfiction titles are appropriate for students from Kindergarten to 6th grade reading levels.

“SNAP Learning is proud to be associated with several global reading organizations, which support children’s literacy,” said Sesh Kumar, President of SNAP. “As these books are specifically written with the goal of improving reading, we believe that they will make an impact amongst those who may not otherwise have access to structured reading programs.”

Additionally, during the month of September, SNAP Learning will feature news items that focus on literacy, and cover inspiring stories of personal learning on all its social media channels.

“SNAP Learning has always been aligned to the goal of improving literacy, both in the US and around the world,” said Mark Sullivan, the company CEO. “With this campaign, we hope to help spread awareness on critical literacy issues that children are facing today.”

SNAP has also created a DonorsChoose.org page on its website home page, which provides a way for people to donate directly to specific projects at public schools in the United States.
